The Arabian Gulf is a Mediterranean sea in Western Asia .
An extension of the Indian Ocean through the Strait of Hormuz,
it lies between Iran to
the northeast and the Arabian Peninsula to
the southwest. The Shatt al-Arab River delta forms the northwest shoreline. The
Gulf is enclosed by seven countries, The Maps Shows The Arab states are the seven Arab states which border the Gulf, namely Kuwait , Bahrain , Iraq ,
Oman , Qatar , Saudi Arabia and
